Patient Safety Awareness Week
To celebrate National Patient Safety
Awareness Week (March 7-13, 2004), MPSC published a series of
advertorials in the Madison newspapers.
In 2005, the MPSC held events around the
city to promote medication safety and fall prevention and reduction. The
article below was published to highlight these events.
Annual Reports
MPSC completes an annual report to review
progress of the following year and to state the priorities of the
upcoming year.
Local activities
In 2006, a sentinel event in our
community rocked the patient safety movement. To further the sadness,
the nurse involved was criminally charged by the district attorney. To
